History of the Brand
Montenegro has produced its flagship since 1885 to Stanislao Cobianchi's recipe, and for more than a century sold essentially one amaro.
Neromaro arrived in 2021 as the house's first serious extension — the same blending philosophy pushed toward roast, spice and darker sweetness.
It was aimed squarely at bartenders who wanted a Montenegro-adjacent bottle that could stand up in stirred, spirit-forward drinks.
