History of the Brand
The Caffo family bought the Limbadi distillery in 1915, and Vecchio Amaro del Capo grew into the most recognisable amaro of the Italian south.
The classic bottling is famously served straight from the freezer — a Calabrian habit that spread across Italy.
For the house centenary, Caffo released a Riserva expression: same botanical identity, higher strength, longer rest and a heavier presentation bottle.
It is aimed at drinkers who love Del Capo's mint-and-citrus signature but want it warmer and less sweet at room temperature.
