How to make it

Keep both bottles in the freezer, or stir the two together briefly over ice.

Pour equal parts Fernet-Branca and Campari into a shot glass or small rocks glass.

Drink it in one — the name is a speed instruction.
Bartender's Tip
If you want it as a sipper rather than a shot, build it over one big cube in a rocks glass and add a grapefruit twist. Same two ingredients, twice the drinking time.
A Little History
A modern bar-industry staple that spread through American cocktail bars in the 2010s alongside the Fernet handshake. Campari's sweetness and bright orange bitterness sand down Fernet's mentholated edge, which is why the Ferrari converts more skeptics than a straight Fernet shot ever has.
